22 मे 1958 रोजी ग्रामसभा बोलवण्यात आली व त्यामध्ये शिक्षण समिती स्थापन करण्यात आली. सर्व 18 पगड जातीतील मुले-मुली शिकल्या पाहिजेत असा विचार होता.

समितीची जबाबदारी स्वर्गीय काशिनाथराव गोरे, स्वर्गीय मदनराव काकडे, स्वर्गीय शंकरलाला तापडे, श्री नारायण गोरमाळी व दगडू पंत कुलकर्णी यांच्यावर सोपवण्यात आली. प्रत्येकाने 250 रुपये जमा करून दानशूर शेतकऱ्यांकडून देणग्या स्वीकारल्या.

स्वर्गीय तुकाराम पंत कुलकर्णी यांनी गट नंबर 97 मधील क्षेत्र 139 आर. जमीन शाळेला दान देऊन जागेचा प्रश्न मिटवला.

11 जून 1958 रोजी समितीची बैठक बोलवून "बनेश्वर शिक्षण संस्था बनसारोळा ता. केज जि. बीड" असे नामकरण व "राखावी भवतांची अंतरे भाग्य येते तदनंतर" हे ब्रीदवाक्य ठरविण्यात आले. पाचवी ते सातवी पर्यंतचे वर्ग घेऊन महाराष्ट्र विद्यालय बनसारोळा या शाळेची सुरुवात झाली.

On 22 May 1958, a gram sabha (village assembly) was convened and an education committee was formed there. The idea was that boys and girls from all eighteen caste communities should receive an education.

Responsibility for the committee was entrusted to the late Kashinathrao Gore, the late Madanrao Kakade, the late Shankarlal Tapde, Shri Narayan Gormali, and Dagdu Pant Kulkarni. Each of them contributed ₹250 and also accepted donations from generous farmers.

The late Tukaram Pant Kulkarni resolved the question of land by donating 139 Ares from Gut No. 97 to the school.

At a committee meeting on 11 June 1958, the institution was named "Baneshwar Shikshan Sanstha, Banasarola, Taluka Kej, District Beed" and adopted the motto "Rakhavi Bhavatanchi Antare, Bhagya Yete Tadanantar" (May the hearts of all be cherished; therein lies true fortune). With classes from fifth to seventh grade, the school Maharashtra Vidyalaya, Banasarola began.

1958 मध्येच — म्हणजे शाळा सुरुवातीपासूनच — अनुसूचित जाती वसतीगृह व बनेश्वर वसतीगृहाची सुरुवात झाली. सुरुवातीची विद्यार्थी संख्या 600 इतकी होती.

भूक ही माणसाची प्राथमिक गरज आहे हे ओळखून, बहुजन गोरगरीब दलितांची मुले शाळेच्या वाटेला लागण्यासाठी जेवणाची व्यवस्था आधी केली. शाहू छत्रपतींच्या कोल्हापूर मॉडेलप्रमाणे वसतिगृहाची निर्मिती झाली.

As early as 1958 — right from the school's founding — the Scheduled Caste hostel and the Baneshwar hostel began. The initial student intake numbered 600.

Recognising that hunger is a person's most basic need, arrangements for meals were made first, so that children of poor and Dalit families would actually make their way to school. The hostel was built following the model pioneered by Shahu Chhatrapati in Kolhapur.

शाळेत प्रवेश केल्यानंतर गेट रजिस्टर वर नोंद, वर्गात उपस्थिती आणि अभ्यास घेतला जातो. मुलांना संपूर्ण शाळेच्या वेळेत गेटच्या आत भरपूर जागा-मैदान उपलब्ध असल्यामुळे बाहेर जाण्याची गरज पडत नाही.

On entering the school, students are recorded in the gate register, followed by classroom attendance and lessons. With ample space and playing fields available inside the gate throughout the school day, children never need to step outside.
